Which of these Squre enix games are the best? List reason why.

FFX has a great story, memorable characters, and a fun battle system.  What was the game missing?

Character and a decent story. FF10 was the downslide of FF. 10 was about 6/10 from me. That's coming from someone that gives FF6 a 10/10, FF7 a 9/10 and FF9 a 9/10.
