PS3's lack of mass pirated games a negative factor?

Sony is make money off of hardware. Blu Ray stand alones to be exact. All thanks in part to the PS3. :)

? you're saying that sony would make more money if they sold more consoles to people who are going to pirate the games anyways?

 

I agree that the success of BR is due to the ps3 and acknowledge the difficulty of doing this while at the same time maintaining a pretty good market share, but I don't think that at this time more ps3s are going to help the BR market. They did in the past, but that battle is over.
