I doubt that Folding@Home costs them much money, if any since it was Stanford University's program, I am sure they are the one that optimized it for the PS3 so I dont think that they lost any money on that.
Cloud was confirmed fake
Home is not a waste of money since it is bringing in revenue, and may become self-sustaining in the future, possibly.
