Well this attach ratio discussion isn't a new one.
Vgchartz currently lists the Wii Tie ratio at 6.03 and the PS3 at 6.02, so roughly the same.
The more serious discussions about this issue ussually delve into why the PS3 has the same attach rate as the Wii when the Wii sells ~2 times the amount of hardware. When statistically a system that sells less hardware should naturally have a higher attach rate. I'm sure if I looked through some thread history I could find some real threads (with real data) that went down in flames.
