With the exception of Vesperia, I haven't found a Tales game that I can even tolerate, including Symphonia, Radiant Mythology and Eternia. **I do, however, own both Legendia and Abyss and am looking to start them soon. For me, the answer is likely to be FFXIII. As much as I loved Vesperia, I still prefer the vast majority of Final Fantasy games to it. |

I really enjoyed 12. I didn't enjoy it as much as my favourite FF's, but nonetheless, it was a fantastic game.
Was it better than ToV? I think so. Much better? No.

That's a bit unfair, wouldn't you think?
There are plenty of RPGs I prefer over several main installments of Final Fantasy; Xenogears, Vagrant Story, Dragon Quest VIII, Disgaea, Valkyria Chronicles, FFT are all, in my opinion, better than FF VII and VIII.

on that note, it's too bad SoM3 never came out of Japan, that game was pretty damn good, I think I'll just label you as a "mostly" Square Fanatic instead.
