Unlikely, Killzone 2 demo was good, albeit short, a better analogy would've been Motorstom 2 demo.

The review said it'd take a while to get in to since you can only get better stuff to progress so I don't think a demo is a good representation for a game like MH.

 

So it's a grinding game, thanks for proving my point.
