No Boycott?
Wierd....

They never said it would be exclusive, and the PS3 version isn't getting delayed.
So we're fine with it

if FFXIII and DMC4 were announced multiplat from the getgo there would be less butt-hurt fanboys
|
It's will be funny if 360 sales of FFXIII are decent compared to the PS3 version
I mean DMC 4 , RE5 sold on par with the PS3...Both series never before on the Xbox brand
But MGS should sell more on the PS3....More than likely the first Multi Platform game to outsell the 360 version by a lot....Along with FFXIII

RE1, 2 and 3 were Playstation games, later Capcom signed a deal with Nintendo (Sony and MS are not the only ones that know this strategy), RE0 and RE4 were for the Gamecube, RE4 also saw later a PS2 version, PC version and a Wiimake, and despite the PS2 version outsold the Gamecube one it was not by much, and the PS2 was way bigger than the GC in sales... So RE5 selling on par in 360 and PS3 is nothing to surprise about, considering the situation...
In DMC4 i guess that one of the reasons the 360 version sold on par was that the installs on PS3 were 20 minutes (widely bashed back then, now people are more used to it) while the 360 one was playable right away, and also, DMC3 made it to PC...

Considering What Situation?.....
What does DMC3 being On PC have to do with Xbox 360 sales?
Having to Install the game has no Bearing on DMC's Fanbase Or Buyer Intent being tied closely to the PS Brand.....

Are you ignoring what he is trying to say? He's saying because MGS4 was and still is a PS3 exclusive the MGS fanbase are mostly PS3 owners because of MGS4. Which would suggest that the MGS fan would support The PS3 version because they own PS3s

"In video game terms, RPGs are games that involve a form of separate battles taking place with a specialized battle system and the use of a system that increases your power through a form of points.
Sure, what you say is the definition, but the connotation of RPGs is what they are in video games." - dtewi
