Are you talking about where a page comes up and you have to say "skip ad" to get to the page you were trying to get to? I've never had that happen here... I'm used to it at IGN though.
Anyways, I beat Prototype today. Looks like the platinum will be nearly impossible--the hard trophy being the 'get platinum in all events.' I managed to get gold in all the events after I beat the game, which unlocks the ability to get platinums. The good news is, if you achieved the platinum rating on events already, it upgrades them all without you having to do them again. The bad news is some of the platinum targets are probably absurd. Some of the gold targets take a hell of a lot of luck and skill... I barely managed some of them myself.
