well Prototype is more fun game. if Infamous would be GTA4 in the style of gameplay, Prototype would be Saints Row 2.
Infamous - story driven game,
Prototype - sheer mindless fun,
eventhough both games are fairly simillar their target is slightly different - if you're fan of games like Halo3, Resistance, God of War then Prototype would be a better pick, if you're fan of more tactical action games then Infamous will be better.
