If his point had been that the two systems are close to each other in performance in practice, then it might had been a good article, but trying to prove 360 is more powerful, makes it bad one.

Now for me i would not say the ARTICLE'S writer was as you say "cherry picking" i would say that he indeed have more informatation about the xbox360 than the PS3 at the time. and he was posting his Opinion about both syste's based on what info he had at the time. I don't think he mean't to come off that way..if he did i don't think it was on purpose.but i do indeed think he was very premature in his OPINION do to the very fact that both the xbox360 and PS3 development tool's have been updated many time's and those result's would be quite changed since than.
