They will release one more game onto the service which will then finish off their portfolio (Microsoft’s words) before the service is over with.

However it will be soon replaced with the new Xbox 360 “Games on Demand” service. The Games on Demand service, true to its name, was announced at E3 2009 and will allow gamers to purchase and download full Xbox 360 games to their console.

No word though on whether additional Xbox 1 titles will continue to be added after the Games on Demand service goes online. From the sounds of it, it doesn’t look like it. As Microsoft will be concentrating more on adding “classic” Xbox 360 games to the service.

That doesn’t make me very happy though. The original Xbox had a metric ton of great titles and quite a few original and unique ones as well. Games like Gunvalkryie, Panzer Dragon Orta, Otogi 1 and 2 and Breakdown come immediately to mind, none of which are on the Xbox Originals service currently.

In fact there are only 29 games currently on the Xbox Originals service, so the one additional title will round it off at 30.

Here is the near-final list of Xbox Originals now available for download on Xbox 360:

1. Black
