I think you missed my point, Halo (the original) was not as good of a single player game as Half Life, Deus Ex or System Shock 2 which came out several years before it; was not as good of a multiplayer game as Counter Strike, Unreal Tournament, Quake 3 or Tribes which came out several years before it. The only thing that made Halo (the original) special was that it was a Lan console game ... And yes, any lan game of 8 or 16 people is a lot of fun ... I'm not commenting on Halo 2 or Halo 3 because I haven't played them, but after the cut-n-paste experience of Halo I have no interest in these games. |
thats making assumptions, ive never had a better single player experience then halo, thats my opinion, just dont make broad assumptions
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Game trailers-Halo 3 only dissapointed the people who wanted to be dissapointed.
Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.
