^ I'm predicting that during God of War 3 the Titans betray Kratos in some way or other, that would be chaos

It makes sense, since the main reason Kratos feels pissed is his feeling of being used and his lack of power as a mortal (and the fact that even if he does have power, and kills everybody, nothing can be done about his past sins).

I hope they do something similar to the ending for PoP (The Two Thrones?), and (spoiler) have Kratos finally stop fighting, let go of his burdens and sins, and have the chains on his arms slip off, and the ashes on his skin fall to the floor.

I had a thread on this stuff before, and Im still almost sure that God of War 3 will end with Kratos flinging himself of that same cliff that he did so in the opening of the first game.

I actually predicted that Kratos and the Titans would defeat the Gods, then the Titans would turn on Kratos or vice-versa and Kratos would previal. With everyone dead, and his past still un-removed, I think he will suicide off the cliff at this point. Everyone would be dead and the series would be brought to a sad and honest end.

However, this shows that the Titans may have betrayed Kratos in the first 13 minutes, so hopefully the opening cinematic will explain.

Yeah, it'll be a bad message to send to just forget your sins (when Kratos' sins were so horrible). It's almost like the Chick Tracts where the bad guys get a free pass via salvation. Kratos will just seem even more unsympathetic by saying "I'm not gonna feel guilty anymore".

But then again, it might be nice for Kratos to see his wife again, her forgiving him seeing him suffer so much and trying desperately to amend his sins, and letting Kratos go to peace.

But the Greeks are famous for their tragedies...
