The main complain for Forza over GT for me is the lack of good wheels support.
There are not many choices for Forza. MS wheel just doesn't cut it for a sim racer. Fanatec has comparable high quality wheels coming out for the X360 but the price is too much for a person who already own a G25. And I don't understand the reason with the limited edition crap.
GT has a big selection of wheels and the wheels really take the driving experience to a different level. You can get the decent DFGT for $100 or you can get the superior G25 for $200+ and there are many other choices.
Driving with a controller never felt like a sim.

well i doubt those wheels are limited cause they made already several iterations of them(5th edition will be released in september/october if i remember), but yeah they are pricey - i'm not happy when i have to buy 350-500$ wheel just to have normal H-gear and clutch for console that costs 300$. well next week i will be getting DriveFX so i'm ok.

I never tried the Drive FX.
Does it support 900' turn? And I heard the FFB isn't really FFB. Those are the biggest draw back from being a quality wheel.
I don't know how creditable is Fanatec. Their website says 10,000 limited edition.

yeah it supports 900' turn. from what i heard FFB is quite good in DriveFX and very similar to original FFB in any other wheel, but it uses different mechanism to pull it. after all Force Feedback is just a catchphrase to me - if you can do the same thing using slightly different mechanism and it's good then it's ok to me(i don't care bout names and stickers on the box).
