Let her play the beginning, and name all of the characters herself. Then once she starts getting into trouble in combat (in the forest?) switch it so that you're sharing control of the characters. (In the configuration options, you can split the characters between controller 1 and controller 2.)

And thanks for the tip, but i think i'll "try" and start her off with the legend FFVII, but if she turns out to be a graphic wh0re then Valkyria it is. :D
