I think it's funny. The finger sign seems to be as rude in the UK as the middle finger is here in the States... but when the finger sign happens in a show (like I remember Spike using it in BtVS), we don't censor it at all.

I guess they figure no one here knows what it means, so it doesn't matter? :)
