there is no argument that MGS =/= the best game in terms of stealth any body who played thief, Splinter Cell or even Hitman will know how really stealth works.
MGS has always been about story and delivering that cinematic experience with some stealth elements thrown in there but not so much emphasized on like other games in the genre.
