This is a risky strategy that could fracture the base.
It is probably a 360 unit with Natal built-in -- which means an add-on would need to be sold to all existing owners (or a trade-in program) who want Natal.
Until Microsoft clarifies what it is doing, it may see a slow down of sales. It will be known that they will be coming out with something new -- the competition will make sure of that.
Finally, I wonder if Microsoft can pull this off.
