In defense of Lord of the Rings trilogy, I love the movies. They are some of my favorite movies of all time, easily my favorite movie trilogy, hands down. Unfortunately the game wasn't that good, but I actually pre-ordered it before the reviews came out because I was excited to play the campaign co-op with a friend. I had fun and even played it a decent amount after I got platinum.
If your looking to get me on a trophy game I would say Buzz Quiz TV was one that I wouldn't have played without trophies. Buzz was one of the few early trophy games so it got my attention. And there was that Japanese advertising game early on too. I am particularly ashamed of myself for playing that one. Too bad I didn't test it out first on my Japanese account. I would never have kept playing it. At the time I wanted to have 100% in everything on my trophy card so I forced myself to click through 120 ads to finish it. However, the lesson was learned and today I only play the games that I think will be fun to play. If I rent a game that isn't fun to me I won't torture myself and keep playing it just for trophies.
