Kind of defeats the point of gaming, no?  I can only imagine these people never played games before trophies were invented.

 

I've put 2 full playthroughs in Fallout 3 since platinum for it, I still play RE5 all the time.  After plat I still went and tried to beat my time trial times on Mirror's Edge, I played BFBC loads when I knew I could never plat it because it was glitched, I still play Uncharted from time to time.  I play CoD WaW, I play Fifa 09, I play Sonic/Sega Mega Drive Ultimate collection, Prince of Persia.

 

All these games and more I've put at least 10-15 hours into after the plat.  Some a -lot- more.  That number will only grow.  I'll be playing Fifa 09 for years since I don't buy the Fifa games every year, last game before I bought 09 was 04...

 

I think a lot of people have forgot the point of gaming and let trophies take over their reasons to play.

I understand what u mean about the trophies, personally i think only singelplayer games should have trophies these days alot of games are like 6 hours long in that way the trophies would make the game re-playable.
