Activision dropping "Call of Duty" from Modern Warfare 2 = bad idea?

You have to remember what the CoD name meant in terms of sales before Modern Warfare when assessing the situation. The fact is, it's MW that pushed the franchise into being one of the top out there.

I'm pretty sure Activision's advertising campaign will make sure that people know this.
