Exactly as mrstickball said.
The "NextBox" will still work with every "non-3D" TV as well. 3D will just be an added bonus for those that have the capabilities to enjoy. Many PC games are getting the 3D treatment so I doubt it is that complicated of a thing to add, especially not on a new system with more power.
They are just waiting until a good couple million have 3D supporting TVs and then their product will have a feature for those and that in turn may help the development of future 3D TV sales.
I don't know about you guys, but the thought of playing FPS games in 3D or even Natal games in 3D sounds amazing! Imaging playing a 3D dodgeball or ricochet game with Natal! That'd be intense!
