The only thing I didn't like about characters like Liara and Ashley is that they droned on and on. Even if you only wanted them for sex, they had to tell you their entire life story. I'd rather be a sexless space marine recalling cool war stories with Wrex than any of the sex-filled alternatives.
When I was trying to romance Ashley (I just wanted the achievement), she wouldn't stop saying "HEY SKIPPER!" I kept on wishing there was a really drastic renegade action for those moments.
