Although the article doesn't say it out right, it sounds like they're implying that the series sucked due to Hideo Kojima, and it's a good thing that he's taking a lesser role in Rising...
I thought that the majority of MGS fans (I'm not a MGS fan, was more of a Splintercell guy), loved the story and Kojima the most...
