That's messed up considering I don't want to have to fork over $240 every 3 years, or even $120 for that matter (OEM version).

According to "leaked" reports. Upgrade will be $99 for professioal. New versions will be $249 for professional. I guess they want people to upgrade :). Very resonable pricing though.

EDIT: Apparently the $99 may be presale price for upgrades purchased between June 26 and July 11th.
