360 version metacritic score is 79.
PS3 version metacritic score is 78 -- because the 2 Playstation sites gave the PS3 version scores of 70 and 75 while the Xbox reviewers gave the 360 version an 80 and an 81 respectively.
None of the blurbs on the PS3 games mention graphics; seems like many reviews would if the difference was this vast.
The difference is not this vast.
The screenshots do not represent what the game looks like -- I think that's the implication of the dev's comment about comparing screenshots when they used different techniques to display each game in its final form.
