First off, you seem to think I'm knocking PC gaming--I'm not. If you prefer to play games on your PC, more power to you, and it's an excellent gaming platform. There's no need to talk down to people who prefer different things than you.
Regarding the bolded, you may want to actually read my post this time, as I said "enter a CD key (if it's on a disc)".
Again, you seem to think that I'm trying to find ways to insult PC gaming. The fact is that PCs inevitably have some message or some bug unrelated to the game that pops up and takes you out of the experience--that does affect my gaming experience on the PC.
Your brother must've gotten some amazing computer, because my custom-built dual-core PC I had made two years ago with the intention of getting into PC gaming doesn't run some of the new games that come out at a respectable level.
That said, you enjoy PC gaming, and I enjoy console gaming. There's nothing wrong with either, so let's leave it at taht.
See where your problem is? You're telling me that only the graphics makes the game respectable? 99% PC gamers DON'T think like you because they want GAMEPLAY, so they stick to PC because of the deeper and more complex gameplay and the high-adrenaline pumping action gameplay that you don't get on consoles.
I would rather play a old looking game like Deus Ex than play all the decent-looking games like Fallout 3 and Oblivion purely because Deus Ex crushes Fallout 3/Oblivion in terms of gameplay, design, writing, characters, story, etc.... Why do you think Pc gamers don't aren't worried in buying old games?
Well, by your opinion maybe you should stop playing console games because they don't look "respectable" since many of their games are only comparable to the LOW SETTINGS of the PC version. Hell, Rockstar said it themselves that the Console versions of GTA4 are around the LOW SETTINGS of the PC version.
Seriously, doesn't making a PC game more for consoles typically mean adding more action to them?
