Could Ratchet And Clank Future steal some of Super Mario Galaxy's thunder?

You know the game in my opinion stealing most of the thunder from Mario Galaxy? Smash Bros. I keep thinking of them both for year end(I know that's changed now) but I'm more excited about smash Bros. now with that being for next year, I'm focused on enjoying Mario Galaxy.
