As far as I'm concerned, there must be a current "numero uno" - that would be DVD (I think!). Unless Blu-Ray or HD-DVD surpasses DVDs and takes the number one spot in marketshare, the only leader in this war so far is still DVD. Any other arguments ("Blu-Ray/HD-DVD overtakes HD-DVD/Blu-Ray") is like comparing a grain of sand to a larger grain of sand while DVD represents the entire beach. |
In other words, the fat lady isn't even on the stage, while the hype machine (from company marketing, and fanboy rantings) is trying to claim she's right there singing.
A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
