@Seece: I stop liking the series after 2, which imo was still the best MK game ever made, something just seems incredibly off about the game 3 onward, the transition to 3D was ok but there just wasn't the same feel to the game that the first 2 MK gave me (eerily creepy)

2...? really? I always liked 3 more...this could be because that was the only one that I physically owned. The rest I'd play at friends houses.

3 lost the MK feel for me, the game just felt more sanitized...

To give you an analogy MK 1 and 2 feels like the old Jacky Chan movies that he use to make in Hong Kong while MK 3 and onward felt like the movies he made after going to Hollywood. The Hollywood films /MK3beyond are still enjoyable but a certain something just felt 'missing', as if the 'soul' of the series was stolen in an effort to commercialise it. Did that make sense?
