I was just curious because it seems odd to make the training mode harder.  Seems like it would make people less likely to join up.

The game doesn't literally ask you to join the army, the most there was the last time I played was the "American Soldiers Creed" (A list/passage of the morals each solider has) showed in loading screens. I;d just say it's a 'simulator' of sorts.

The harder training mode is to represent the reality, now people will need expert results in all marksman tests in order to qualify to take the sniper tests. Once passing those will they be able to snipe online.  I like the sound of it even though I will probably not see the sniper rifle in a long while xD
