Nobody has answered a question I have:
What percentage of the total of each in terms of marketshare (for movie formats, e.g. VHS, DVD, HD whatever, VCD, online)?
As far as I'm concerned, there must be a current "numero uno" - that would be DVD (I think!).
Unless Blu-Ray or HD-DVD surpasses DVDs and takes the number one spot in marketshare, the only leader in this war so far is still DVD.
Any other arguments ("Blu-Ray/HD-DVD overtakes HD-DVD/Blu-Ray") is like comparing a grain of sand to a larger grain of sand while DVD represents the entire beach.
