Yes. You NEED to have the PlayStation Eye to use the Sixense controllers. It's just like the Wii Remote and the sensor bar.

 

My guess is that Sony will release two versions, one bundled with the PSEye and one without.

The PSEye currently retails for $39.99 and I imagine that Sony would want to price the bundles competatively with the Wii Remote/Wii Play bundle. For that I believe that Sony will have the PSEye Bundle between $60 and have the bundle without the PSEye be $40.
