I would take it as a joke if the guy was joking, but he's taking obvious potshots at the game.
Water boundaries, walls, upgrades. You guys are so naive if you think this author, who also made a very serious attempt at explaining that acheivements are better than trophies, is just making fun.
Just because he's having fun doing it doesn't mean it's joking. Maybe I should find a list showing how 360 is better than ps3 because it's a space heater and noise canceling device. If you don't find it funny, then you must be a lame fanboy with no sense of humor.
