In general PS3 is the lead dev platform nowadays, and in general multiplatform graphics on the two consoles are equivalent; either system may have an edge for a given game, but it's small.  The 360 advantage seen when 360 was lead platform is pretty much nonexistent.

Now, for exclusive titles, PS3 games do seem to have the edge and seem also to be improving at a greater rate than 360 games.

This here thread is alt-account fanboyism.

There's so much wrong with this post I don't know where to begin but I'll give it my best shot.

- PS3 is not the lead dev platform nowadays, source?

- Generally the 360 has the edge in a given game. I'm just being honest, we're talking minimal here.

- I disagree on the exclusive titles debate. You will generally find that it is just PS3 fanboys idolising their exclusives giving the impression that they are superior to a given 360 exclusive. Fanboy fanfar does not = fact. Most fanboys haven't even properly experienced exclusives on the other platform. This is why I disagree and can't take that seriously.

EA and Ubi have been moving in the direction of making PS3 the lead more often, though they haven't issued blanket rules to their studios on the matter.  I probably worded my initial statement too strongly, though.  I didn't find a source indicating which platform was leading over half of the multiplat games currently in development.

"EA have commented in the past on their desire to put the PS3 as lead platform and judging by their new titles it seems like the plan is set in motion. It has recently been revealed via OPM that Mirror’s Edge is currently developed on the PS3 as the lead platform. Dead Space is another title that have been revealed to use the PS3 as lead platform as well."

I think you may be right about 360 still having a small edge in multiplats; my point was to say that it's not close to the same situation earlier this gen where 360 multiplats were clearly better and PS3 versions suffered from real problems (back then, 360 was pretty much universally the lead).  Going forward, we'll see.

On exclusives, we'll agree to disagree.  I could say the same about '360 fanboys' playing up 'superiority' of Gears, etc.  But it wouldn't show anything, would it.  I'm optimistic about the future, enjoy yours!
