Hmmm...that just got me thinking. That boycott last year was started because Ubisoft didn't announce Red Steel 2(which ended up getting announced), Shawn White looked like crap(which ended up being a damn good game and better than the HD versions), too many Petz games got announced(which ended up turning up better in quality than past games...or so I've read from the reviews), and a company representative slighted Wii fans(who turned out to just be another Onyxmeth forum moderator). Wow. What a well thought out boycott that was.

What are Wii fans getting nowadays? Anno: Dawn of Discovery, Red Steel 2, Rabbids Go Home, Broken Sword: Shadows of the Templar, Tenchu: Shadow Assassins and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash Up.

Some of you just speak up far too quickly for your own good.

To the author of the new boycott, I pray you're joking.

He did say he wasn't talking about Wii games.  Although I wonder what he is actually talking about.

Oh I know. Only the last sentence was for the OP. The rest was just because this reminded me of last year's boycott and it looks even more ridiculous now with Ubisoft putting a lot of effort behind the Wii, than it did a year ago, when it already seemed incredibly ridiculous to begin with.

He's talking about the 360/PS3/PC titles. Basically he bought some games, did not enjoy them, and feel a boycott is the necessary reaction to this. I'm still waiting for somebody to give a legitimate reason why game quality is a reason to boycott a company instead of just not buying their games. I've always considered boycotts to be more like denying yourself something you might want because of a reason not attributed to your love of the product, like if Ubisoft were paying incredibly low wages to workers in Thailand to develop games and you felt it was wrong, you would not purchase a game you would otherwise get to get your point across.
