I'll just quote this from the article and let the bias in the line speak for itself; spot the hyperbole.

"PS3 shadow/shades and lighting detail are either too dark or too light thus ruining the whole gaming experience especially when it come to dark/horror games."

Personally I'd rather have more cars and more tracks than be 5% better graphics-wise, particularly when graphics have reached the level of these games.

I keep hearing this and it's time I point out a few things.

Tracks wise Forza 3 was announced to have over 100 tracks. GT5 I dont know how many tracks it will have.

People harp on about more cars in GT5 ( even if 50 of them will be different types of Skyline. ), but what about the developer spending time on things that matter. Example

Forza 3 not only runs the graphics it has, but also the physics. So does GT5. But what Forza 3 also has to run while playing is the first ever tyre deformation system. Let me explain. The turkish grand prix track in F1 has the infamous Turn 8. This corner is 3 connecting apex's of which pull 5g's for 8 secs on the driver. If this corner is taken on the wrong line it can affect the outside half of the right tyres. They wear quicker than the rest of the cars tyres. This has an affect after awhile when turning left. There will be less grip available and an unbalanced car. This is what Forza 3 has implemented into it's engine. Also different tyres will wear differently and affect handling differently. Simulation? Certainly is.

Then we have HD video editor. Machinima will be big on this. Excellent feature that will set it apart from any racer. Then theres the upgrades to the customization in Forza 2. Customization is not only about paint jobs, but the wealth of minute changes that you can do to shave 0.4 sec off your lap time. Something Forza has always had gallons more of over GT. And the online. The online absolutely destroys Prologues. So PD have a long way to go to match Forza 2 let alone 3.

And for those wondering about where the 1 mill polys may have gone? Remember Turn10 have stated as the cars flip in the game they have had to model the underneath of every car to the same detail as the rest. And also the interiors have got immense detail that you can physically take a screenshot of every nook and cranny in the inside of the car. Even a close up of rear seatbelts for example in a Civic.

So more cars GT5 may have, but less features and sim engines also.
