I agree, his are more popular but openly admitting to stealing something and seeing it as being alright! I just don't respect that. And not being patient enough for an answer from MM to see if it was alright to take his idea even makes him lower in my eyes. Even if MM doesn't reply he should respect that and not go on to take his idea. I'm pretty sure he would have eventually agreed (mm's generally a good person) but that doesn't give you the right.
