If they want to sell this, they need to pull of deals with the retailers to get a demo of the game (like how Guitar Hero is demoed) in a visible place, with Eyetoys on the side for immediate grabs, and the eye pet ready to be played with.

Casual games with potential mass appeal like these need to be shoved in the face, as the casuals don't go out to look for news and games, but grab whatever's on the news, popular, and on impulse.

 

Edit: Bundling the game with Eyetoys might be a great idea too.

Heavy Heavy advertising on appropriate channels would also work wonders, but Sony can't afford it atm unfortunately
