Dead Space: Extraction looks like it as an amazing game!

I honestly do not like rail shooters, first off because they don't sell well, secondly they are a cheap cop-out for a real game, and thirdly what year are we in 2009, or 1999?

 

Nope. The game being on-rails does lift some pressure off the CPU, as it eliminates the control stick and camera control; also it takes a serious chunk off AI (Arificial Intelligence) as enemies usually pop up at pre-defined spots in the game.

Being on-rails has almost no impact on graphics quality. This game is not pre-rendered like, say Resident Evil Remake which had 3D static background. It's being rendered real time.
