I dont know if the PS3 is the main reason why HD-DVD is dead. I think it was the studios who fell back from supporting HD-DVD and joined the Blu Ray side that brought Toshiba to stop production of HD-DVD players, discs, etc, with anything involved with Toshiba's HD-DVD tech. |
o'l brother..HD DVD was never ..an i mean Never going to win..why?
there was only one company that made the D@MN OPTICAL DRIVE..THAT WAS TOSHIBA..alone all by itself
compared to 11 of the largest production companies for optical disc's arround the world which chose back in 2002 to support Blu-Ray
HD DVD was made to force Sony to release the PS3 early and lower the adoption rate of Blu-Ray because the "BDA" chose java over Microsoft's "IHD" control software
that's what's the truth.
