There should be 2 definitions of failure, one being financial and one being position in the market. PS3 failed massively in both losing tons of money and marketshare.
How did Sony not have a choice in include blu-ray?
Did the customers see the extra cost of the PS3 due to blu-ray as justified? The market speaks for itself.
