I think that it'll be a huge win for either Sony or Microsoft if they enable mouse+keyboard controls (via USB) for their respective consoles. That can open them up to a huge number of PC exclusive games (most notably RTS's such as Empire: Total War).
I love old PC games that I play (since my computer can now handle them), but I don't want to pay 1000 (or whatever it costs)+ for a gaming PC (and people complain that the PS3 is expensive...)
