Yeah, i don't see the benefit of making it a timed exclusive neither. Since its Lost Planet and its in Japan. The game wouldn't really help 360 in any major way by being timed exclusive in japan since its the "wrong" genre for Japan. This game, a TPS in Japan with a "bad" first game won't really turn heads in japanese game stores. So the exclusivity would feel quite pointless.
