I can't see dev's having any incentive to go back and patch their games to make them somehow usable with this technology. Sony could always pay them I supposes, but that would further drive them into the red. Just like with Natal, the only way it will succeed is if it has great software bundled with it initialy to show off the tech to the average user and get them excited about it (see: Wii Sports and Wii Play) and for third parties to jump on board with games built for it. Of course, Sony has more first party studios to aid in this transistion as well.
