I read this before:
"It is Microsoft. And I will kill them."
-1994, when asked who he thought the biggest competition would be for his upcoming PlayStation game console.
It's a pretty epic quote. He already knew what he was going for back then. The ps3 was his vision. (or maybe the ps4 :p)
Anyways the point is that he forsaw his battle with microsoft.
