I suspect a price drop before December. Depending upon your view that's a long way away or pretty imminent.
If you can't wait go ahead and have fun playing and take the view the extra cost covered the months you'll spend playing vs not playing.
If you can wait... I'd be tempted to hang on until August and see what's been announced by then.
Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...
