Back on topic though(this I say, to the ...op)

You have mischaracterized the 1up score, by purposefully using the incorrect review assigned by metacritic.

Can you either fix, or deny that please?

....if this isn't stealth trolling, that is. Otherwise, leave it be.

This proves how much of trolling you are doing.

This is from the 1Up website: We rate games on a scale of A+ through F. Anything we score in the A+ through A- range is considered excellent, B+ through B- is good, C+ through C- is average, D+ through D- is bad, and F is terrible.

So there are a total of 9 grades that are awarded to games.

Now convert them to a scale of 0-100

So each letter in the 1up system would symbolise 100/9 = 11.11 points.

Thus, if a game gets B-, that is the 6th letter. (F being the lowest, followed by D-, D+, C-, C+)

So the score of B- converted to a scale of 0-100 is: 6*11.11 = 66.66 which when rounded up give the number of 67

You see, this is pure mathematics and it doesn't lie, unlike you.

Ya anytime you want to convert a scale like that of 1Up into a standardized scale of 0-100 you gotta follow this procedure.

So ya when you accused him of being a troll coz he quoted the review score that was shown on metacritic, it was completely baseless.

Ok, last post.

That is how metacritic comes up with their mischaracterization.

However, it is generally accepted by many, many game fans, and stated specifically by 1up that this scale CAN NOT directly assimilate to a numerical rating.

For instance, are grades in college ranging from 100 to 0, 0 being an F?

No, no sir. An F is a 60.

That is, as 1up says themselves, the nature and inspiration for the letter system.

It is mischaracterization, BECAUSE the OP presented it in a way where it appears to be a "poor" score, and in fact, 1up has explicitly stated that a B- is a good score.

Now, Steroid's alt, stop flaming me.

You're imploding. I don't need an alt to let that happen.
