ONE function? According to MS, it not only does speech recognition, face recognition and 3D-tracking of multiple bodies, it also cooks your meals...
The processor/VLSI chip that could handle all these tasks would have to be extremely more powerful than any general purpose processor (like the one in the XBox, for example).
