Looks like great fun! And in the end it's all about fun right? Sorry haters, try again.

I agree. Keep on shedding those tears haters. Natal is getting all the good press while Sony's purple wand gets nothing.

............So....where were you for the past 3 years when all the Wii owners were claiming "The metacritic reviews doesn't matter, all that matters is if the people playing the game were having fun"? When the Wii games were lambasted for having "poor graphics (when comparing to HD games)," "little to no story (compared to HD AAA games)," and being "just a bunch of mini-games," where were you to defend the idea that "it is all about the fun"?

I'm not blaming you two directly, but it is a sincere question of "where were you"? Did you have the same opinion at the time, or did you join the bandwagon and changed your viewpoint when Microsoft and Sony finally came around and realized that Nintendo was going with something here? Because I am seeing more and more posters here changing their views about the motion controls, but instead of admitting they were wrong they still hold the same opinion of Nintendo....instead of truly believing that "it is about the fun," they are just acting as blind fanboys of their respective choice of system.

IMHO, I think it is great that MS and Sony have opened up to motion controls. I personally would want to see more games than Breakout and Burnout. Mainly because:

1. The Breakout game seems to be just....a little...foolish. Don't get me wrong, if it is fun, it is fun. Some fun is more refined (I hate that word but I can't seem to find a better one) like going to the arcades, going to a carnival, a game of baseball, football, basketball, etc. and then there is fun that a 2 year old would have. I just feel this game relegates to the latter, but that is just my opinion.

2. As everyone seems to have an issue with, there seems to be a little lag with this game between steering and the result shown on the screen. Racing games, esp. with the speeds of the cars, requires a lot of precision. Whether it really is because of just overreacting to the steering due to not holding a wheel or because there is a legitimate lag, either way there seems to be an essential problem here. The fact of not holding a wheel when driving a car....is not natural. That is the point of motion controls for video games....to make things natural for people to play and to have fun. Not having something to hold on to when driving a car is not natural.

So what would be the best games for Natal? I don't know...I don't develop games for it. The karate game thing? Sure, so long as there aren't any lawsuits of T.V. being broken by idiots...Ricocheting balls or volleyball? Sure, Volleyball seems to be a great idea...lets hope Nintendo doesn't best it in Wii Sports Resort with their controls right now.

The skateboarding game thing shown at E3? The new Tony Hawk game with the skateboarding peripheral seems to be more intuitive, even if it means it is less technological superiority than Natal. And I think that is the idea. The technology doesn't have to be superior in order to make it better than another product...it has to be more intuitive. That is what I fear Sony and MS has forgotten and has messed up.
